Abstract
How to present your work?
An online platform will be enabled from August 2024 to upload abstracts. The proposed abstract must be aligned with one theme of the IWaST:
- Water Security
- Water Pollution and One Health
- Water Management and Treatment
- Water Sustainability and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
- Water Education
Take into account the following guidelines:
- Presenting author confirms that all co-authors are aware of content of the abstract and agree to its submission.
- Abstracts need to be in English, and include a title (maximum of 20 word), author names, email address(es), affiliations and ORCID numbers if relevant.
- Abstract should not exceed 250 words
- Associate 3 to 6 keywords
- All abstracts will be reviewed and evaluated by the IWaST Scientific Committee
- Registered participants can present up to two oral papers or one poster presentation. The IWaST Scientific Committee reserves the right to change the communication from oral to poster status. Author will be informed if this decision is made.
- The deadline for Abstract Submission is
15 September 2024 (BOT)07 february 2025.
Steps Required to present your work at the IWaST Congress
1. Review of the Call for Abstracts:
– Abstract submission deadline: February 07, 2025.
– Verify the congress themes: Water Security, Pollution and One Health, Water Management and Treatment, Water Sustainability and Life Cycle Assessment, and Water Education. For more information, visit IWaST Congress website.
2. Abstract Preparation:
– Prepare the abstract in English, including the title (maximum 20 words), author names, email addresses, affiliations, and ORCID numbers if available.
– The content should cover the addressed problem, objectives, methodology, main results, and conclusions (maximum 250 words).
– Ensure to include 3 to 6 keywords. Download the guidelines and abstract format from this link.
3. Submission form:
– Access the google form to submit the abstract via this link and fill the information:

4. Evaluation by the Scientific Committee:
7- The committee will review and notify acceptance by February 15, 2025.
– Please note that the committee may adjust the presentation type from oral to poster if deemed appropriate.
5. Early Registration:
– Complete early registration before February 17, 2025, to receive preferential rates.
6. Presentation Preparation:
– If your abstract is accepted, prepare your presentation (oral or poster) for the congress, which will take place from March 19 to 21, 2025, in Cochabamba.
